DONATE to Trees for Streets
Raising money to make Cambridge even greener, by planting trees across our city, either in the streets or the local parks. Consider making a one off or a regular donation along with your veg box.
Trees for Streets is a national sponsorship scheme. Established by the charity Trees for Cities in 2021, they are on a mission to fill towns and cities nationwide with trees.
Each trees costs £295. This sponsorship supports the tree purchase, the planting, and 3 years of maintenance to ensure growth and success.
The trees are around 5-7 years-old and stand between 3-4 meters high, with tree stakes, and a tree guard; they may also have a watering bag and irrigation tube.
Over the past two years we have supported the planting of 9 trees.
