Direct Debit Outtage - now fixed

On Friday 10th our direct debit provider, London and Zurich, informed us of a problem with the system. It is currently not possible to set up a new direct debit, and all of our direct debit batches since last Thursday have failed. 

We have been assured a fix is being worked on. As you can imagine, for our own cash-flow reasons we do hope this fix will be imminent!

In the meantime, what this means for you is:

If you have received a box since last Thursday (9th November) this box will not have been paid for. As it stands, we hope the direct debit service will be back in action soon, and so the payment will be taken the next time we request it. This could mean you receive a higher than usual charge, if you receive another box in the meantime.

Update, 22/11: The direct debit system fix is still in progress although we are assured this is almost complete. We do apologise for the inconvenience.

Update, 23/11: The direct debit system has now been fixed, if you receive an email about a payment and it appears to be higher than usual (or, you cancelled your box for this week and weren't expecting a payment) this is because the system is taking payment for boxes received whilst the system was down. Do contact us if you want further clarification.
